Responsibilities 

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other associated costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential issues, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and material pricing to maintain accurate cost databases.
• Create comprehensive bid packages for submission to clients, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines.
• Participate in bid review meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a construction estimator in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
