Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Family Law Associate at The Morton Law Offices, PLLC located in Raleigh, NC. Attorneys are responsible for managing family law cases, conducting consultations and client meetings, representing clients in court and mediations, preparing legal arguments, and communicating with clients. The role requires trial experience, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team of attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active NC Bar License
• Graduation from an accredited law school
• 1-3 years of experience in family law
• Knowledge of local rules
• Willingness to travel to Wake, Durham, Franklin, and Johnston Counties
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legal terminology
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Clio
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality
• Reliability and punctuality
• Must be comfortable with e-filing and Odyssey
