Global Recruiters Black Hills is Hiring an Electrical Estimator - Near Sacramento, CA

Electrical Estimator

We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our team. For over 30 years, our company has led the Northern California electrical industry and set the standard in commercial and industrial electrical service. If you are hardworking, understand exemplary customer service, are willing to learn, and have a positive attitude, you may be the perfect fit for us.

Responsibilities :

The Estimators are required to work in the office daily, unsupervised and be self-motivated. Utilize a PC Based Estimating system by TRF/CERTAIN, to price and labor commodity items. Estimators are expected to have a working knowledge of NECA Labor units to apply to non-commodity items such as switchgear and lighting.

Attention to detail is paramount and Estimators are expected to be able to identify buildability issues as well as limit company liability.

Qualifications:

3-5 years Commercial/Industrial estimating experience

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, strong team environment

Must be deadline and accuracy-driven

SDG/SCE/LAWDP Experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

  • Sitting, standing and walking (95-100%)
  • Keyboarding (40-60%)
  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (95-100%)

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a business office environment.
