gpac is partnered with a well-established company, looking for a competent Road Construction Laborer to work with Operators Paving or Grading.

This job is for a hardworking individual who is seeking an opportunity to move up in the Road Construction industry. Experience is a plus but willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist heavy machine operators in construction projects
• Unload and carry materials at construction sites
• Clean up the site from debris and discarded material
• Place traffic signals where appropriate
• Set grade for aggregate materials
• Construct road drain tile and road fabric
• Sawcut Concrete and Bituminous

Skills

• Proven experience as a construction worker
• Knowledge of basic construction principles and methods
• Able to work in a team
• Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
• Basic Math Skills
