Job Title : Acoustic Ceiling Estimator
Salary Range : $125,000 to $175,000 per year

Job Description :
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acoustic Ceiling Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with commercial acoustical ceiling projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing takeoffs, analyzing project requirements, and preparing detailed estimates.

Responsibilities :
1. Review project documents, including drawings, specifications, and bid documents, to determine project requirements.
2. Perform accurate takeoffs of materials and labor required for acoustical ceiling installations.
3. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing for materials and services.
4. Analyze project scope and requirements to develop detailed cost estimates.
5. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline project costs, timelines, and scope of work.
6. Present estimates to project stakeholders and participate in bid negotiations as needed.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and best practices.
8. Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and maximize profitability.
9. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
10. Track and analyze project performance against estimated costs to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2. 5 years of experience performing takeoffs and estimates for commercial acoustical ceilings.
3. Strong understanding of acoustical ceiling systems, materials, and installation methods.
4. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
