We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Estimators to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of reading plans and blueprints, with the ability to extract pertinent information related to drywall scope from project specifications.

The Drywall Estimator will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and comprehensive estimates by identifying labor, material, and time requirements for various projects.

Responsibilities

Blueprint Analysis : Demonstrate proficiency in reading plans and blueprints to extract relevant information for drywall scope.

Specification Review : Analyze project specifications to identify and understand the specific requirements associated with the drywall bid.

Estimation : Prepare detailed and accurate estimates based on solicited plans and specifications, considering labor, material, and time requirements.

Software Proficiency : Utilize software tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, Quick Bid, and On Screen Takeoff to enhance the estimation process and workflow.

Communication Skills : Possess effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Experience : Utilize previous experience to make informed decisions and ensure the accuracy of estimates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in reading plans / blueprints and extracting relevant information for estimation.
• Proficiency in software tools such as Excel, Outlook, Word, Quick Bid, and On Screen Takeoff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prior experience in the commercial construction industry, specifically in drywall estimation.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range : Commensurate with experience, starting at $60,000 - $120,000.
• Competitive bonus structure based on project completion and profit.
