Stable, reputable and growing Corporation is seeking an Asphalt / Paving Foreman with no less than 3yr Foreman Experience.

Active Foreman must be experienced in Paving, Asphalt, and Grading of Heavy Highway, Commercial and / or Civil projects.

We seek those with a track record of delivering high quality projects with safety, timeliness and on or below budget. Management and Leadership should also be proven with personnel teams of 8-12 members.

• Must have a basic knowledge of abilities and limitations in all applications
• Ability to recognize potential problems before breakdowns occur
• Must have the ability to work safely and follow the policies and procedures of the company

• Must be able to climb onto and up and down a machine several times a day

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach and signal with hands and arms;

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Employees must have 20 / 40 vision, either naturally or with corrective lenses
• Hearing should be excellent or corrected by audio device
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Asphalt Paving Foreman : 2 years (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

• Supervises all phases of a paving operation such as maintenance of equipment, employees, and distribution of product
• Responsible for implementing environmental, health and safety regulations and policies (local, state and government)
• Responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment
• Must keep equipment serviced, lubricated, and in good working order, including good housekeeping
• Responsible for planning, organizing and coordination of daily activities and work assignments for your team
• Responsible for deliveries, productions, record keeping, creating and submitting reports using email and fax with Word and Excel
• The employee frequently is required to stand and walk
