My client is looking to hire a Billing Coordinator / Accounts Receivable Specialist!

I’m partnered with a nationally recognized family-owned company specializing in Waste Management Solutions. Company growth and expansion has led to an urgent need for a Billing Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will be a crucial member of the finance team reporting directly to the COO. Along with a background in hazardous waste billing, the candidate will possess tremendous communication skills with the ability to thrive within a family-based office environment.

Essential job functions :

• Accurate and timely management of billing processes, including preparing invoices, managing accounts receivable, and addressing client inquiries.
• Manage and process full accounts receivable workflow including invoicing and collection.
• Review contract and proposal documents that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Post transactions to journals and ledgers.
• Maintain and update customer records and billing data.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with multiple departments maintaining seamless financial management.

Qualifications :

• 2 years as a Billing Coordinator, ideally within the Hazardous Waste Solutions sector or a similar industry.
• Thorough understanding of billing and financial practices.
• Proficient with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting legal documents.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintains excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
