Requirements

· Manage the Shipping Dock, heavy volume, 12 – 15 outbound loads simultaneously.

· Create productivity reports and be held accountable for the dock’s operation.
Provide ongoing coaching to each employee concerning quality, reliability, accountability, and productivity.
Ensure team’s adherence to established procedures and policies.
Responsible for the daily scheduling of the work force to insure proper staffing to load and ship merchandise based on previous day’s projections.
Prioritize and accurately estimate loading times for various TL (floor load and pallet load) and LTL pick- ups.

· Ensure loading is done in a productive and cost-efficient manner.
Hold staff accountable for conducting work in a safe manner, and ensure that warehouse personnel have safe efficient equipment to perform distribution functions.

· Accurate and timely management of BOL’s, manifests and all paperwork related to shipping. Experience in shipping to major USA retailers

Desired Skills

· Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in dock supervision.
Ability to use Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook and Excel)
Being bi-lingual (Spanish) is desirable, but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with customer account reps
Strong organization and time-management skills
Must be a team player, we depend on each other to catch each other's mistakes, and help correct them. Every shipment is a team effort.

· Must have a good attitude towards work, towards fellow employees, and towards customers.

· Must be able to work with Management and Communicate well with Drivers.

· Must be dependable on time every day.

· Knowledge of Excel and WMS system necessary.
Previous experience in this field is a must.

· Can work under pressure, and is able to multi-task

We have an informal work environment, a casual dress code, and good benefits (holidays, vacation days, health insurance, etc.) Hours are 7:00 – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Overtime required at times.
