Job Summary
Under the direction of a Performance Coach, this position contacts a territory of dealerships in the North Central Region to facilitate product training and improve sales consultant performance.The trainer works with a comprehensive knowledge of assigned OEM brands and training priorities to conduct In-Dealership training and coaching. Resumes and applications are being collected to fill openings as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Conduct training sessions in accordance with performance standards
·Responsible for product training and performance support within assigned dealerships
·Develop and manage schedule to support dealer needs while working with regional personnel on direction and priorities
·Conduct special training assignments and facilitate large group meetings as required
·Conduct launch training events as required
·Conduct on-going product study and competitive reviews
·Submit schedules, rosters, activity reports and expense reports according to performance standards
Qualifications
·3-5 years automotive related or automotive retail experience or commensurate experience
·In-depth knowledge of vehicle technology, light duty truck fundamentals, trailering and infotainment systems
·Strong communication skills
·Strong facilitation, presentation and coaching skills
·Organizational skills
·Computer skills/literacy and proficiency with PowerPoint
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
LOGISTICS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
·80% travel
·Provide training within dealerships and meeting locations
·Home office based
·Reside within assigned territory
·Light Work— Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Light work involves sitting most of the time.
·Physical Activities—Reaching, sitting, driving, standing, stooping, lifting, walking, typing, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
·Visual Acuity—Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors, and read.
·Requires visual acuity to view surroundings and identify potential hazards to safety while performing essential functions of the job. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a classroom or other client setting.
·Visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle.
·General working Conditions—Both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
