The chosen candidate will support the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both classified and unclassified network systems throughout NIWC Pacific.
This position is full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA.
This position is full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA. Candidate must be located within the San Diego metro to be within daily commuting distance of the work location.
Required Qualifications:
- Three (3) years demonstrated experience installing, maintaining, and repairing network equipment, fiber, patch panel, Ethernet connections and related peripherals using industry standard equipment
- Experience with the Standard for Installing Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling (ANSI/BICSI).
- Experience performing Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) – Alarmed Carrier inspections
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must possess a DOD Secret clearance (or higher).
- Must reside within commutable distance to San Diego work location
- HS/GED Diploma
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
Salary: $75,000-$84,000. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
