Goulet Trucking is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Associate to join our South Deerfield team. This position is located in South Deerfield MA, ordering and receiving parts and assisting and delivering parts to the technicians as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that parts are ordered and stocked in a timely manner.
• Manage the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and customer information.
• Work with the purchasing manager and shop manager to ensure that the parts department operates efficiently and within budgetary guidelines.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure that all their part’s needs are met.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-year experience in the role of a parts associate in a mechanics shop or similar role and industry.
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in computer applications and inventory management systems
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
