Local Hourly Pay: $41.00
Anticipated Start: ASAP
Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days - No on call - No floating
Hours: 40
*based upon qualifying for position and allowances. Total package is inclusive of taxable wages and allowances.
Summary:
Full time PTA position in a busy skilled nursing facility. Provides direct physical therapy according to directions of a qualified physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care and as defined in the state Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Personal care component for a small percentage of patients
- Other (SLP) duties as assigned
- Strong communication, organizational, & time management skills
- Self-direction, flexibility, & professionalism with a strong sense of team commitment
- New grads considered
- Successful completion of SLP-CCC
- Current active SLP license in your home state (if not multistate, willing to obtain a license in the state you intend to travel to)
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
- Successful completion of GoTravel's Competency Program
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, Physical, & CPR/BLS Certificate
- Proficiency in the English Language
