The Senior Superintendent is responsible for managing Commercial developer clients’ projects by selling “extras”, by managing numerous foremen, and by acting as an intermediary between the field operations and management.

Highlights of what our Senior Superintendentwill do:

• Understands requirements for each project specific to each budget and communicate expectations to installing foreman.
• Evaluates all foremen at project completion for success patterns or atypical situations.
• Scrutinizes purchases for correct quantity, coding, aggressive buying, and budget analysis for introduction into month end percent of completion.
• Reviews, analyzes and understands workload forthcoming by constantly interfacing with sales/estimating to provide direction on margin aggressiveness, resource dedication, and customer satisfaction.
• Understands individual job budgets, dedicate required resources daily specific to each project; communicates with the client and generate tentative schedule to coincide with their projections.
• Understands contract scope of work through a thorough review.
• Establishes crew sizes, crew days, and critical paths for success.
• Analyzes the relationship of direct labor to supervision and revenue that crew should generate on monthly basis.
• Interfaces with equipment manager for an effective equipment management program and operations commitment to support the cost-savings effort.
• Accurate, timely contract billing administration including tracking, documenting, and mandating billing for any services provided.
• Formally generates and proposes additional work; administer to formal client acceptance and budget acknowledgment; adjust and forward the amended budget to field ops for action.

Are you the right fit for this role? *Skills & experience that are necessary as a Senior Superintendent will include, but not limited to:

• 5-7 years of managing and running construction projects
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Must have strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and understand plans, material lists, guidelines and meet timelines
• Must have experience with irrigation systems, and plant landscape material

Salary and Benefits:

• Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
