SUMMARY:Performs the deployment of end user personal computer and related systems; installs approved and allowed software to meet user requirements; troubleshoots software and hardware failures; performs work of level 1 complexityESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:

1. Active Directory: add new systems to the network; unlock/reset user account passwords
2. Hardware: complete hardware installations, equipment moves; BIOS patches; hardware troubleshooting; desktop hardware support of end user systems;
3. Software: install licensed software on workstations
4. Contact, coordinate with and deploy refreshed devices to users
5. Re-provision user workstations using LANDESK EPM provisioning utilities and SOP.
6. Collect obsolete equipment, following local site decommissioning procedures (most of which is performed by the local Service Delivery team lead)
7. Security Patching: ensure user workstations are up to date with all security patches currently reported as necessary per LANDESK (EPM)
8. Experience with MacAfee EPO suite (VirSpam, Drive Encryption)
9. Install printers
10. Participate in safety training and comply with safety policies and practices.
11. Collaborate in team meetings and activities

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 2 years of PC tech experience supporting Corporate WAN end-users
2. Intermediate understanding of PC architecture
3. College/vocational training classes taken focused in Information Technology
4. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), AD Domain Console, LANDESK, Service Desk
