Position Overview : As a Personal Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with activities of daily living and providing companionship and emotional support.
Whether you're helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, or simply lending a listening ear, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities :
Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, respecting their privacy and dignity at all times.
Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring safety and comfort.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences and restrictions.
Remind clients to take medications as prescribed and assist with medication management as needed.
Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversations, promoting socialization and cognitive stimulation.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively and interact respectfully with clients and their families
Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields is preferred but not required
Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required by state regulations
