Gotham Enterprises is Hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMCH, LCSW, LMFT) Near Queensbury, NY

We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in counseling or related field, be licensed in the state of New York, and have experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, couples, and families in our community. You will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and objectives
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities
Monitor and document clients' progress towards treatment goals
Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed
Provide education and support to clients' families, promoting understanding and active participation in the recovery processes.
Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and determine their treatment needs.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to address clients' unique challenges and goals.
Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.
Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.
Demonstrated experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive and affirming care.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Salary:
$90,000 to $100,000 per year
