About the Role

Gotham City Home Inspections is looking for full-time experienced and newly licensed Home Inspectors to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player that is professional and has excellent communication and people skills.

What You’ll Do Here:

Perform multiple home inspections per day using a computer program and phone to record observations to report back to the Real Estate Agent and/or the Client (usually the home buyer).

  • Ability to identify “defects” within a home or structure, photograph such defects, document the findings and clearly communicate the findings to the client with an educational tone.
  • Physical requirements: A home inspector should be in good physical condition as they will often perform the following physical tasks:

o Carrying, setting up and climbing a 15-foot ladder
o Accessing and traversing attic spaces, requiring good balance and
equilibrium.
o Accessing and traversing structural crawl spaces (tight
spaces with insects, pests, etc.)

We Would Love to Hear from You If You Have:

  • A New York State Home Inspection License (or course completion up through module 4)
  • Driver's license and a car with good driving record
  • Availability to work weekdays/some early evenings/weekend days
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Personable with a customer-first mentality
  • Strong drive for results and highly organized
  • Strong process orientation
  • Excels at cross-functional teamwork & communication
