ON-SITE POSITION IN MEMPHIS, TN 38103
HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE
PAY RANGE UP TO $19.75 PER HOUR (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL)
Payroll Specialist needed in Memphis, Tennessee 38103 for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh’s client.

• Payroll
• Inbound and outbound calls
• Problem resolution
• Data entry

• MS Excel

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with payroll operations.
• Solves basic pay related inquiries of limited complexity.
• Summarizes colleague inquiries in written form into a computerized template or ticket.
• Visually examines payroll records to create tickets to resolves basic data errors and discrepancies when necessary, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Document colleague voice interactions in writing within tickets.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to assist with colleague inquiries.
• Respond to basic inquiries from colleague regarding payroll related matters.

What You Need to Bring to the Table: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 - 2 years of Payroll-related experience
• Knowledge of basic payroll and timekeeping information (e.g., utilization of basic mathematical, etc.)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel
• Basic time management, strong organizational, and deductive reasoning skills
• Basic aptitude with numerical data
• Experience working in a multi-tasking environment (specifically while talking with colleagues and resolving inquires).
• Provide active listening, empathy, and problem solving.
• Position is hybrid with 2 days per week working from home. Must have reliable internet service
