Sky Zone Joliet is looking for one Manager On Duty (MOD) to join our 45 person strong team. We are located at 2318 Essington Rd. Joliet, IL 60435 Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.

You’re a leader and part of our family, facilitating fun for our guests and enjoying yourself along the way. The Manager on Duty will provide information and training, review sales transactions, and answer phones(front desk service) while maintaining the highest level of customer service. You are the most involved person our guests will meet: therefore, your primary goal is to start them off with a WOW experience while assessing their needs in our park and ensuring they get the best experience. Customer feedback is HUGE!

One of the most important roles you have as a Sky Zone Manager is managing the environment and making sure employees are motivated and working while simultaneously ensuring customer satisfaction. Other duties include increasing our dollar per transaction and most importantly, closing sales.

We are heavily impacted by membership sales so the better we are in understanding sales and how to sell, the stronger we are as a team and the better example of leadership we show. Our day to day sales consist of monthly memberships, ongoing promotions, seasonal offerings, flash sales, our many programs, and also concessions.

Responsibilities

• Greet our guests ENTHUSIASTICALLY
• Provide complete information to questions
• Explain the Sky Zone court and patron policies
• Handle and enforce waiver policies
• Complete sales transactions: cash management
• Inventory Management
• Enter ALL data in computer system(EOD numbers) -Tracking items
• Other duties as assigned
• Work with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Be a leader and set the example, Don't be afraid to take charge
• Train and work side by side with Team Members
• Effectively communicate with team members and other levels of management
• Routine safety checks and Overall park supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have a positive and upbeat attitude
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
• Interact and communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle money
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
• Ability to enter data into a spreadsheet
