We're looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our team! As a DSP, you will provide support and guidance to people served as they learn and develop important daily living skills and life activities to live as independently as possible.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support people in learning the skills needed to increase their independence in areas of life such as community involvement, job skills, education, personal health, and daily living skills.

What Will You Do:

  • Assist with daily tasks/chores like cooking, cleaning, medication management
  • Support/Promoting and teaching individuals to practice and maintain good hygiene
  • Run errands such as shopping and going to appointments
  • Encourage and foster individuals’ hobbies and interests
  • Provide habilitation & documentation
  • Follow health & safety protocols
  • Ensure Individuals' needs are met while preserving their dignity and personal choice.
  • Provide day-to-day care to Individuals residing in their own home.
  • Assist and guide Individuals in budgeting funds (this includes shopping or other activities involving money management).
  • Assist Individuals in participating and planning social and recreational activities.
  • Complete and maintain all documentation required on a web-based system that employee will be trained on.
  • Monitor program compliance and progress with the Individual Service Plan.
  • Provide a safe living environment to meet the Individual needs.
  • Effectively communicate with the Team.
  • Establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships.
  • Regular and strong attendance.
  • May attend Individual Service Planning meetings (ISP).
  • Administer medication as scheduled to Individuals and monitor health changes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle to transport during shift
  • Pass all background checks
  • Full range of motion, physical strength, and the ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications

Physical Prerequisites

  • Ability to travel both in and out of city limits
  • Lifting (under 25 lbs) and carrying equipment/material as required

No degree or prior experience required! We offer paid training!
