Veterinary Technician
We are seeking a part time or full time veterinary technician in a very busy small animal AAHA accredited hospital to join our family! We are looking for an experienced technician who wants to join a hospital that is dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures.
Our ideal candidate is one that is a team player who is dependable, energetic, friendly and understands the importance of communication. MUST have a positive and professional attitude as we truly rely on our technicians every day as we perform surgeries, appointments, and communicate with clients.
A Vet Tech should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum 1-3 years of previous experience working in a veterinary hospital, Vet Tech Degree; is a plus.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multitask and pivot when necessary.
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- A passion for working with people and animals.
- A high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- An ability to accept and be open for feedback.
- A positive attitude, flexible team player with respect and appreciation for others.
