Who we are looking for:

An ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous service, installation and/or project management experience in the commercial electronic security industry, including: Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, and Intrusion Systems. Candidates with a background in a parallel industry such as IT/networking, electrical controls, HVAC, robotics, etc. are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Programming access control, CCTV, and parking control systems
  • Installing and/or troubleshooting field equipment (card readers, cameras, burglar alarms, control panels, etc.)
  • Project planning
  • Directing and managing onsite subcontractors
  • Complete projects within budgeted costs and time schedules
  • Fully test systems (quality assurance) and gain final project acceptance by the customer
  • Complete end-user training maximize customer satisfaction
  • Perform all duties in a safe, professional, and courteous manner

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of computer software fundamentals, electronic hardware, low voltage system wiring, and relays / relay logic
  • High level of mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills. Focused on keeping everyone informed.
  • Team player with a positive, "can do" attitude and the ability to coordinate the efforts of others.
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to solve complex problems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word.

Other:

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
