SALES REP / ESTIMATOR APPRENTICE

Gorilla Netting seeks a motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented individual to fill an open position in our Construction Sales division. This is a starting position on our sales team with potential for tremendous growth. In this role, you’ll be tasked with working with our Lead Estimator to develop sales proposals for B2C customers, netting installation projects, pole sales and pole installation projects. Gorilla Netting is a fast-growing sports and barrier netting company located in the Tampa Bay, FL area. We have a well-established client base, with an existing sales pipeline growing daily. We are looking for someone with good communication skills that has a basic understanding of construction, can quickly learn to estimate netting and pole installation projects, and help take Gorilla Netting to the next level.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn to develop basic netting system designs and estimate project costs.
• Assume existing sales and utilize incoming leads to create and analyze new projects. Develop and deliver estimates, quotes, and proposals, while building customer relationships.
• Maintain responsibility for the performance of your sales activities.
• Establish and strategically build a solid customer base.
• Set goals and conduct quarterly performance reviews with all team members.
• Aachieve maximum profitability and growth in conjunction with company goals.
• Lead by example, using the established sales processes, and close a high percentage of the leads given and the leads you and your team generate.
• Continually analyze the sales process to refine and improve its success, and work with upper management to establish a sales reporting framework.
• Strive to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction with all customer interactions.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Preferred (NOT required):

• Track record of accomplishments in the Sales field.
• Experience in construction estimating.
• Construction or Utility Line/Telecom experience (general knowledge).
• The capability of working on Apple OS and Mac computers.

Required:

• Good communication skills.
• Highly personable, with the ability to quickly build relationships.
• The capability to operate Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel.

Compensation:

Salary commission

Pay: $37,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
