**Job Overview:**
Join our team as an Insurance Agent where you will play a vital role in helping clients secure the right insurance coverage to protect their assets and loved ones.
**Duties:**
- Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Provide guidance on insurance options and tailor policies to suit individual needs
- Upsell additional products or coverage when appropriate
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients
- Ensure accurate and efficient data entry of client information
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction
- Support new producers as the team expands, aiding them in acclimatizing to systems and commencing work at Goosehead.
- Manage occasional social media marketing efforts
**Experience:**
- Must have a Property and Casualty insurance license as mandated by the state of maryland and possess a minimum of two years of experience in personal lines insurance account management.
- Have knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting processes, understanding of coverages offered in the home and auto insurance products
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette
- Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
