Hours: Tuesdays between the hours of 9 am-6 pm (or until finish)

Location: 518 York Street, Newport, KY (until mid-June) moving to 2366 Kemper Lane, Cincinnati, Oh 45209

Pay: commensurate with experience, Paid time off, Seasonal team activities and paid meetings, Free Staff meal, excellent work environment shaped by employee feedback, and after 1 year of service can qualify for company matched 401K

Join our growing company to connect our food community with the seasons and nourishing, caring experiences with weekly meal prep and cooking classes. This is an employee role 8-10 hours a week, with the possibility to add more hours, and with pay commensurate with experience.

Join Goosefoot Cook and Grow and our talented team of culinary professionals who focus on cooking seasonally. Goosefoot is sister company to The Heirloom Chef (www.theheirloomchef.com) in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA founded in 2011.

As a company we are focused on building relationships that nourish our clients and our communities at large. This includes sourcing as locally as possible from local farmers and food artisans. Our dishes are customized to meet special dietary needs such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, AIP, and Paleo.

Responsibilities include:

  • Food Prep

  • Cleaning dishes and work area

  • Delivery to clients

  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with our clients, the team and all our partners

  • Be an enthusiastic ambassador of our values and brand to current and future clients

  • Organize food containers

  • Order new containers as needed

  • Track containers being sent to new clients

Job Qualifications:

  • Nourishing our clients with nutrient dense food and good energy

  • Cultivating mutual well-being and community between clients, chefs, and the greater food system

We are seeking people

  • Who see their work with our company as aligning with the trajectory of their career

  • Who have at least 1 year of experience in the culinary field or are experienced home cooks

  • Have experience working directly with clients and is very comfortable receiving client feedback and responsiveness to client needs including communication

  • Who are ServeSafe certified or willing to get the certification

  • Who have excellent communication and service skills that translate well into working with clients

  • With access to a reliable car to transport food to and from clients’ homes

  • With a clean driving record

  • With an ability to pass a background check
