The District Manager Sales and Operations - Commercial Tire Service Center (CTSC) will direct the center operations of an assigned region for Goodyear CTSCs. The position will lead the sales effort by example, personally executing the Target Account Process.

The District Manager Sales and Operations - CTSC will execute the Goodyear CTSC Business Strategy. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring Best-in-Class Center Management Teams. Partner with the Leadership Team to identify operational, growth, merchandising, real estate, marketing and human capital opportunities. Responsible for achieving an Annual Operating Plan to achieve profit, sales, units, productivity and establish action plans when goals are not met.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership - Direct the development and execution of the district's AOP Plan through guidance and leadership to achieve or exceed AOP results. Monitor and measure execution of key processes identified by GCTSC leadership team. Responsible for the day to day work flow of center operations and District P&L. Identify and implement best practices across the as well as sharing best practices within the leadership team and peers. Execute center compliance with all customer process manuals.
  • Associate Management - Direct the selection, development, and motivation of key management associates. Utilize succession planning to prepare for growth by developing the skills of direct reports. Lead through on-going center visits, verbal communication, timely feedback, positive reinforcement, written evaluations and performance feedback. Address performance concerns.
  • Communication - Assesses market-level competitive dynamics and communicates intelligence and recommendations back to Business Leadership. Monitor and communicate within region, audit reports to identify trends, improve processes, administer corrective action and put controls in place.
  • Strategic Planning and Development - Create a culture that provides exceptional customer service at all levels. Create an environment where Goodyear is the brand and employer of choice. Maintain an in-depth and complete knowledge of competitor activity within the region. Analyze intelligence data and provide recommendations for future action plans.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or in lieu of degree 10 years of equivalent experience will be considered
  • 5 or more years of experience managing a Sales or Operational Team
  • Proven ability to execute AOP with clearly defined objectives
  • Proven and consistent track record for meeting and exceeding Operating Targets
  • Ability to travel (40-60%)

The pay range for this position is 114740 - 213085 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
