About the Position
Position is primarily responsible for washing, sorting and counting linens associated with corporate laundry procedures in the Goodwin House Bailey's Crossroads location.
This position is Monday-Friday hours vary between 7am-3pm .The pay is $18.75 / hr. Shifts every other weekend are required.
Job Duties
- Assists with sorting linens received from Goodwin House Baileys Crossroads communities in preparation for washing.
- Assists in transferring clean linens to dryers; removing and folding dried linens.
- Folds, prepares, counts clean linens, and restocking for Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads.
- Assists with inventories as requested.
- Assists with personal laundry as assigned.
Job Requirements
Previous laundry experience preferred.
Must be knowledgeable of laundry practices, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to health care facilities.
Must possess ability to deal tactfully with residents and staff.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English required.
