The Janitor will clean common areas and offices as well as maintain fixtures, equipment and grounds location. **Job Type:** Part-Time

**Essential Duties and Tasks:**

* Provides maintenance and custodial services for the buildings, equipment, grounds and fixtures.

* Demonstrates proficient knowledge of equipment including the location of switches, controls and valves.

* Maintains floor-care and instructions in areas as assigned.

* Works on rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience:**

* Basic knowledge of maintenance and custodial work; previous experience a plus.

* Ability to read and write.

* Must be able to perform all janitorial tasks on a daily basis.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more occasionally.

* Ability to follow instructions, including safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.

* Ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

* Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
