Goodwill - Rockford, IL is Hiring a Sales associate Near Rockford, IL
Shifts Needed :
Sales Associates are responsible for all duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Department Manager, including :
- the selling, stocking and pricing of store merchandise
- completing customer transaction through the use of a cash register
- straightening of racks, shelves, and other areas of the sales floor
- promoting the store inventory to potential customers while providing an extremely high level of customer service
- light housekeeping
Qualifications
The sales associate is an entry-level position. Candidates must have :
- the ability to assist customers with inquiries and actual sales
- ability to operate the cash register (as assigned), accepting cash, making change, and handing over merchandise
- ability to perform routine stocking, pricing, and housekeeping duties (as required)
- ability to work in an unstructured environment
- availability to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekend hours
Ideal candidates have :
- previous retail experience
- previous cashiering / cash handling experience
