Summary/ObjectiveReporting to the Director of Project Management and Operational Support, the Project Manager is part of the Project Management team that supports gathering requirements from other departments and coordinates vendors, resources, and information to implement upcoming projects. Their main duties include maintaining project schedules and budgets, organizing, and participating in stakeholder meetings, ensuring all deadlines are met, and overseeing the completion of projects. The Project Manager assists other project managers and leaders in the completion of tasks.

• Participate in or lead strategic and tactical project planning; and propose improvement initiatives, if necessary or as assigned.• Partner directly with the supervisor to translate requirements into structured and executable tasks and milestones.• Communicate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives in support of the project execution.• Schedule and facilitate meetings with vendors, project team members, and others.• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails.• Supervise progress of concurrent projects and tasks, coordinate team members to keep the plan on track, and report to Management regularly or as agreed.• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.• Manage project-related paperwork and documentation to ensure all materials are current, properly filed, and stored.• Assure all parties maintain close communication and coordination regarding project status and milestones.• Create and update location layouts. Read and interpret blueprints created from CAD/Visio drawings.• Evaluate potential problems and ensure that deviations to the project schedule and issues are investigated, properly followed up, resolved, and reported to management.• Assist in the creation of processes and procedures for the Goodwill MOKAN Project Management Office (PMO).• Document and report on results of projects at completion.• All other duties as assigned by the Director of PM and Operational Support.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close/ distance/peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Physical DemandWork environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions, which may include wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and outdoor weather conditions, with no heat or air conditioning.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel This is a full-time, exempt position. Working hours are based on the needs of the business, however, some flexibility of the schedule is permissible with supervisor approval. Night-time or weekend work may be required. Occasional daytime travel to locations supported is required. Overnight travel may be required and is generally limited to a few times a year.
