POSITION PURPOSE: Fulltime Ecommerce Shipper is responsible for ensuring that all merchandise sold to customers online is packaged securely and shipped in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Hourly Payrate: $13.50
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Follow all safety policies and procedures ensuring maximum safety, security, and protection of all customers and company assets.
2. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Work cooperatively with all consumers, community groups, co-workers, and subordinates to promote the achievement of company mission.
3. Maintain inventory standards of all shipping supplies. Report any discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
4. Ensure proper handling and packaging of all items using correct packaging materials.
5. Enter shipping information into the appropriate software and produce shipping labels, ensuring accuracy of all shipping and tracking information.
6. Perform housekeeping functions that ensure that the workstation is kept neat, clean, and organized.
7. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training. Basic computer skills are required.
