**Description**

A Goodwill Store Manager has many roles in the store that are critical to the stores success. Recruiting, retaining and developing staff is one of the primary responsibilities of the Manager. You will also oversee the daily operations and will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience. Goodwill stores are more than retail sales they help support the Goodwill vision in supporting local communities.

**$5000 SIGN ON BONUS**

**Starting Salary $47,000 DOE**

**Position is eligible for up to $6200 in performance based annual bonus**

**Job Summary**

1) Manages day-to-day operations of Goodwill Retail store with gross sales of $1,000,000 to $1,999,999

* Interviews/hires new store personnel; trains store personnel in job duties

* Maintains store records including all cash, sales, deposit, expense reports, payroll sheets

* Responds to customer complaints, examines returned merchandise, and resolves problems

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or GED.

* 5 years experience in retail environment

* 2 year experience in a supervisory position

* Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a courteous and professional manner

* Demonstrated ability to handle strenuous physical activity including occasional heavy lifting

* Valid drivers license permitting operation of a vehicle in the state where employed; safe driving record

* Automobile insurance that meets minimum state requirements

* Criminal background check that meets Agency standards.
