GOODWILL NORTH GA is Hiring a Retail Operations Analyst Near Decatur, GA

The Retail Operations Analyst will report to Donated Goods Retail (DGR) and collaborate with the Marketing Department to conduct analysis and create accurate reports and data summaries in support of business objectives and improvements.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide the DGR and Marketing teams with data and operational analysis using various tools and technologies, such as Power BI, to create reports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Create and interpret reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Regularly monitor and report on systems in DGR and appropriate KPIs. Create tools and methods to track and key spend and drive revenue.
  • Provide data and support the financial analysis for new businesses, expansion, and related operations.
  • Respond to data requests in support of the development of the annual DGR budget.
  • Assist with Payroll analysis to improve labor efficiency.
  • Provide various data points in collaboration with the team to identify trends and insights.
  • Analyze customer data using a variety of database tools, spreadsheet models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
  • Provide the DGR team with a comprehensive analysis of operations, inventory control, and process efficiency, including various data points and tools, to investigate cost variances and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the DGR/Marketing team to provide trends, insights, and recommendations for enhancing the guest experience.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of business acumen.
  • Experience and strong working knowledge of MS Office Products, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, flexibility, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain productivity and effectiveness in a fast-changing environment with sometimes conflicting priorities; able to prioritize workloads and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Experience building strategic relationships throughout a complex organization.
  • Strong working background in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Experience working in a multi-client or multi-site environment will be a significant advantage for the qualified candidate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other graphics and/or presentation software.

  • Ability to travel 20-to-25% as required.
