Goodwill North Central Texas is Hiring a Remote Manager, Online Sales and Operations - CANDIDATE IDENTIFIED

Job Title: Manager, Online Sales and Operations 

Location: Goodwill North Central Texas - 4005 Campus Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 

Salary: Based on experience 

Work Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday

General Job Duties: Responsible for the selection, training, and management of personnel. Ensure employees understand work rules and address inappropriate activities/behaviors immediately and coordinate corrective action plans with department head and/or Human Resources, if appropriate, to ensure consistency and to encourage and maintain a work environment that is inclusive and positive. 

  • Communication with management team and conduction monthly employee meetings 
  • Attends all meetings and training as required by the Agency. Direct and delegates work of entire store team including their store leadership. 
  • Evaluate employee performance and drive professional development. 
  • Comply with all Agency policies, including Donated Goods Retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety and security policies and procedures. 
  • Build a strong team through ongoing feedback, support, and guidance with the goal of facilitating both business and personal growth; set realistic goals and establish expectations; help team members improve sales and work quality. 

Oversee revenue budget responsibility, driving success and growth in the Online Sales Department 

  • Stay current on industry news and changes as well as competitive models and features. 
  • Track actual performance against expectations and modify strategies in response. 
  • Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations 
  • Maintain all company records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion. 
  • Oversee production including sorting, listing, shelving, inventory pulling and shipping. 
  • Accountable for reporting, such as payroll and sales reports. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer service skills. 

Oversee the daily maintenance and care of the physical store for the purpose of providing a safe, secure and orderly facility to the benefit of employees and clients alike. Must ensure that all safety and first aid training requirements and related reporting are met.

Skills/Qualifications: At least three (3) years’ experience in retail or similar active industry with more than one year’s supervisory responsibilities with leadership skills demonstrated in previous employment and/or position. Highly skilled with Windows PC and operating system, Microsoft Excel and Internet. Experienced in customer focused sales and support environments. Experience with online selling platforms or the have the ability to learn selling platforms quickly. Must be able to multi-task, and work both rapidly and efficiently. Must be able to adapt and manage change. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members, coach/train peers or team members and work with and guide team members with disabilities and disadvantages. Ability to figure percentages and perform simple math computations. Sufficient eyesight and manual dexterity to differentiate between and classify items.

Physical Requirements: Sufficiently mobile to supervise employees in all areas of the workplace and grounds—including the ability to travel to corporate or other locations, as requested. May be required to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate effectively with associates and customers. Ability to bend and twist. Ability to work in a warehouse setting which includes noise, some extremes in temperature, and dust. Must have forklift certification or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment. 

Legal Requirements:  Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, ability to pass drug screen and background check.
