Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinates the daily operations for all assigned donation centers (both standalone and storefront), and corresponding staff.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential Functions Statement(s):

  • Supervises all assigned Donation Center Supervisor I & II.
  • Oversees all assigned Donation Centers and Storefronts.
  • Schedules daily assignments ensuring coverage at all assigned location at all time. If needed performs duties of subordinates to provide site coverage.
  • Provides training for all new Supervisor I & II’s and any necessary ongoing training for all Supervisors. Ensures that all assigned Supervisors are providing all required training for their subordinates.
  • Ensures the completion of all payroll related tasks, including updating attendance records, ADP reports, time corrections, meal forms and delivery of paychecks on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Ensures all employment relationship issues are handled in a timely and appropriate manner, with the knowledge and guidance of the Donation Manager.
  • Assists donors with donations made in error and any customer service related issues for their assigned areas.
  • Complies with and ensures that all assigned staff comply with all guidelines set forth in the Standalone and Storefront Donation Center Training Manual.
  • Keeps the Transportation Department informed of any transportation needs or concerns at their assigned sites.
  • Ensures the upkeep and maintenance of all assigned sites to include, ensuring all sites are sufficiently stocked with supplies, all necessary maintenance request are submitted, all sites are kept clean and visually appealing and the Donations Manager is informed of any repair needs.
  • Collects, delivers, reviews and completes all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner, this includes, but is not limited to, maintaining all employee files, completing monthly site inspections and supply orders and maintaining all established tracking spreadsheets.
  • With the guidance of the Donations Manager interviews and makes recommendations for hire.
  • Safeguards all donations and company property from damage and theft. Treats all donations and company property with respect and care.
  • As assigned, assists with new site openings.
  • Acts as the WIG Coach for their assigned sites.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations and performs all assigned duties in a safe manner according to all company safety guidelines and ensures others do the same.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
  • Qualifications

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Education: Associates Degree or 2 years college or technical school preferred.

    Experience: Two years of midlevel supervisory or managerial experience or internal promotion candidate required, up to four years related experience preferred.

    Computer Skills: Proficient in email, Word and Excel basic knowledge required.

    Certificates and Licenses: Valid CA Driver’s License with a driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s insurance company’s standards.
