We are looking for a dynamic team member to join our Human Resouces group! The Employee Health Plan Advocate position is pivotal in educating and supporting our team members across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont about their health plan options and assisting them in making informed healthcare decisions based on their unique needs.

Job Summary:

• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for employees on health plan benefits, updates, and wellness programs.
• Work closely with our health plan vendors to meet the needs of our employees and to troubleshoot individual challenges as they arise.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the provider market in our territory to inform training programs and advice given in individual employee discussions.
• Provide personalized assistance to employees in understanding and navigating their health coverage options on both medical and Rx related needs.
• Develop and update training materials and presentations based on the latest health plan information and trends.
• Collaborate with the HR team to identify healthcare needs and gaps in coverage among employees.
• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for employees for all health plan related inquiries.
• Organize and lead Q&A sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee health information.
• Assist in the communication of health plan benefits during new hire orientations and open enrollment periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in training, healthcare administration, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of health insurance plans and employee benefits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand formats.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to support and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
