Job Summary:
As a Career Advisor, you'll play a vital role in helping clients overcome employment barriers and achieve their short-term and long-term employment and training-related goals. You will connect clients with opportunities that lead to sustainable jobs, ultimately contributing to their success.
Responsibilities include:
Client-Centered Support: Collaborate with clients to assess their job competencies and identify and overcome barriers to achieving their employment and training goals. Connect clients with opportunities leading to sustainable employment.
Building Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired—Foster connections and relationships with community businesses to promote and further the Agency's services.
Coordination of Services: Coordinate services for participants with other internal and external programs, service providers, community organizations, and training providers.
Documentation: Maintain accurate customer files, personal plans, progress summaries, progress case notes, and other necessary documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired to help clients achieve their vocational goals.
