Job Duties

Sales

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
• Collaborates with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times
• Provide prompt and accurate checkout while operating a cash register.
• Introducing promotions and sales opportunities to customers.

Donations

• Greets donors promptly and cheerfully to offer assistance.
• Be knowledgeable of acceptable donations, decline donations when appropriate.
• Sort donated goods into specific containers according to sorting procedures
• Meet production goals for grading, sorting, hanging, pricing and tagging donated items in preparation for retail sale.
• Prepare products for shipping in accordance with the standard operating procedure

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED not required, is a plus.
• Retail experience not required, training available.
• Must be able to participate in donation processing
• Able to operate cash register using basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Willing to learn new processes quickly and possesses strong organizational skills
