Summary: Operates proper machinery to process Recycle commodities.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary: Operates proper machinery to process Recycle commodities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Shreds paper using industrial shredding machine

• Bails paper, textiles and stuffed animals using the bailing machine.

• Keeps all floors and aisles free from trash and debris by picking up and sweeping the area.

• Sorts metal by metal type.

• Processes computers per the DELL Reconnect Program guidelines.

• Cleans machines according to PSM schedule.

• Bails cardboard in bailing machine as necessary.

• Sorts commodities: shoes, belts, purses, Bric/Brac as requested by vendors.

• Meets and/or exceeds daily goals set to support Department revenue budget.

• Other duties may be assigned.
