GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Perform all assigned payroll functions. Act as the subject matter expert on payroll functions and software, employee leave, policies, and benefits; ensuring compliance.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous payroll experience is required.
2. Must possess strong computer skills with windows operating system, Excel, and Human Resource Information Systems.
3. Knowledge and operation of a variety of office machines.
4. Strong organizational skills.
5. Post-high school education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to communicate in spoken conversation and have normal hearing for conversation, telephone use and emergency information systems.
2. Visual acuity, depth perception and field of vision within normal range.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Flexibility, able to change routine in a positive manner.
2. Adequate individual coping skills.
3. Ability to participate in decision making and solving problems as they arise.
