Description

Job Objective:

The GVI/SAVE Office Coordinator provides the local GVI/SAVE team with clerical support, data entry, collection and analysis, report generation and submission, and general operations support, as well as other related projects and services. This role collaborates with leadership to provide ongoing data review and supports quality improvement projects as needed. The role ensures quality control by performing oversight of the receipt and distribution of the supply chain and assists with reconciling external audits, as indicated. As an important member of the team, the Office Coordinator remains available to participate in all special projects, as needed.This position reports directly to the GVI Director who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Knows and understands the Goodwill Mission: Strengthen communities by empowering individuals and families through education, training and job placement.
  • Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides ongoing reports.
  • Develops and implements databases, data collection and record keeping systems.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in data sets.
  • Filters and cleans data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Works with GVI/SAVE Director to prioritize information needs.
  • Identifies new process improvement opportunities; collaborates with quality improvement (QI) team on all QI improvement projects as a priority participant.
  • Assists with and supports activities facilitating relationship building with community support partners.
  • Acts as a liaison for support in report generation and meaningful interpretation of GVI data.
  • Prepares all mandatory data reports for submission to funders and community partners as requested. Submits to Director prior to submission for review and approval.
  • Ensures GVI/SAVE teams are provided meaningful interpretations of data that facilitates ongoing process improvement on a routine basis.
  • Assists with monthly invoicing and financial record keeping.
  • Collaborates with the Director, as well as implementing agency (IA) grant writers to facilitate completion of grant proposals and ongoing grant and funding reporting.
  • Develops and sustains a program for the LIA that includes the oversight of all incoming supplies (program and client) and distribution of all supplies.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
  • Assists Director, GVI/SAVE team members as needed, with other duties as required or assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • History of developing and maintaining records and/or supply inventory.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Good self-awareness, ability to work on a team, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Google docs and Outlook.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma and 2 to 4 years related experience required.
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, information management, or another related field preferred.
  • 5 years of related experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate orally and hear clearly.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling 35 lbs.
  • Climb stairs/ladder.
