Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a home healthcare settings. Your expertise and skills will contribute to the well-being and recovery of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records systems such as Cerner
- Specialize in specific areas such as wound care, home health, or dementia care, depending on your experience and interest
- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards, including HIPAA regulations
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff
- Assist with various procedures such as tube feeding or the use of durable medical equipment (DME)
- Stay updated on current medical practices and advancements in the field
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education
- Proven experience administering injections and performing various nursing procedures
- Knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
- Familiarity with home health protocols and procedures
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
