Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is Hiring a Clubhouse Coordinator II Near Dayton, OH

Summary Responsible for assisting the Clubhouse Manager in the effective and professional management of the Clubhouse, managing direct reports, maintaining relationships with various funding sources, and increasing community awareness of the Clubhouse. The coordinator must be a hands-on generalist in the day-to-day work of the Clubhouse. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist the Manager in providing professional leadership to the Clubhouse to achieve the goals in accordance with the ICCD Clubhouse Model. Assist the Manager in managing the Clubhouse with efficiency and effectiveness to support the Clubhouse’s direction consistent with the agencies Strategic Plan. Assist the Manager in providing mentoring and guidance to staff. Provide oversight of Clubhouse operations when the Manager is unavailable or out of the building.Involve Clubhouse members in all levels of management and decision making. Assist the Manager in managing the continuous improvement of policies and procedures. Assist the Manager in developing plans for service delivery with members. Assist the Manager is overseeing Clubhouse budget and spending.Develop rapport with members and staff. Develop rapport with community stakeholders. Provide and/or assist in member’s orientation and plan development. Work with quality assurance to ensure compliance standards are maintained. Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Responsible for the supervision of Mental Health professionals in the absence of the Clubhouse Manager. Education Requirements Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required in the Mental Health field. Someone with a strong understanding of the needs of people with a mental illness, empathy for people within the community, and an understanding and experience in the application of the ICCD Clubhouse model. Experience Requirements Demonstrated experience in working within the non-profit sector in a similar role and in working with community groups and coordinating fundraising activities. In addition, demonstrated management skills and demonstrated team leadership skills, including recruiting, performance management and conflict resolution, are essential. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Willingness to work flexible schedule with evenings/weekends. Commitment to the community adjustment of people with serious and persistent mental illness. Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision as well as have the ability to work cooperatively as a team member. Must be able to follow through with projects and assignments in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to deal with daily operational challenges in a fast-paced environment. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must possess excellent customer service, organizational, writing, and reading skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with a broad spectrum of people; including consumers and employees.
