GoodVets is a leading veterinary management organization looking to hire a Veterinary Recruiter. Our hospitals are a premier destination for high-quality, full-service healthcare for pets and we are growing rapidly in multiple national markets. We have over 20 locations today and will have over 30 locations by the end of 2023.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this individual will be responsible for finding top veterinarians for GoodVets to partner with. You will be a team player that can build strong talent pipelines while representing the GoodVets brand. We are scaling at an incredible pace and are just getting started. This individual will shape how we attract, select, and retain top veterinary talent.
You will make an impact by:
- Building a pipeline of veterinarian candidates.
- Managing the full life cycle recruiting process: responsible for sourcing, outreach, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offers and overall candidate experience candidate screening to onboarding.
- Creatively source and outreach to candidates through a variety of outlets. Fostering relationships with candidates to understand their key motivations and assess fit.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and movement of candidates through the recruiting funnel. Have a sense of urgency as needed.
What we look for:
- 5 years in staffing or recruiting with a track record of success
- Demonstrated experience with various sourcing tools and recruiting technologies.
- Expert proficiency in recruiting strategies utilizing:
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- Database mining
- Boolean search strings
- Cold calling
- Targeted passive candidate sourcing
- Outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Ability to build trust with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree minimum level education.
