GoodVets is a leading veterinary management organization looking to hire a Director of Product. Our hospitals are a premier destination for high-quality, full-service healthcare for pets and we are growing rapidly in multiple national markets. We have over 20 locations today and will have over 30 locations by the end of 2023.
About the Director of Product Role:
As Director of Product at GoodVets, you will play a pivotal role in defining our digital product roadmap. You will work closely with our Company leadership, veterinarians, data science and engineering teams to optimize and expand our innovative all-in-one digital client platform. From seamless booking experiences to pet-care management, telehealth, online pharmacy and more, you will play a critical role in ensuring that we provide a seamless first class digital experience to our clients, improve patient outcomes, and optimize digital business processes.
The Impact You Will Have Every Day:
- Delve deep into understanding our users - their needs, their behaviors, their pain points - and the market
- Work collaboratively with our hospital teams, engineers, data scientists and operations
- Launch new products and features; capture feedback and iterate
- Create detailed, effective product roadmaps
- Drive prioritization and trade-off discussions
- Manage stakeholder communication and expectations
- Impact company and business objectives by thoughtfully setting actionable key results and measurable outcomes
What We Look For:
- 4-6 years of experience in product management
- BA/BS in a technical or business discipline or relevant experience
- A strong understanding of product management principles
- Experience conducting end user research and building voice of client
- The ability to understand technical design, challenges and risks
- A keen eye for detail and an obsession with the customer experience
- Experience working cross-functionally with business, sales, engineering and data science
- Experience translating functional needs to technical requirements and can communicate successfully with both business and engineering partners
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
- Experience with product & project management tools such as Jira, Trello
- Experience working in healthcare preferred
