Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in various aspects of store operations. This is a dynamic position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the store
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Manage and train a team of employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and providing excellent customer service
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members
- Help manage inventory levels, including receiving and organizing merchandise
- Price and tag merchandise accurately
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions with accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Skills:
- Strong market knowledge to understand customer preferences and trends
- Store management experience is preferred
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory
- Exceptional organizational skills to maintain efficient store operations
