Event Sales Coordinator

Full-time

Monday through Friday

The responsibility of the Event Sales Coordinator is to aid the Catering & Events department by selling and booking events to clients. The ideal candidate will have restaurant, sales, and administrative experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Speaks with customers daily to book inbound leads
  • Follow up with clients for prospective events
  • Input orders into online system
  • Participate and contribute to the departments quarterly and annual objectives
  • Provide administrative support to the Events & Operations Office
  • Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring or ongoing projects
  • Communicate with multi-concept restaurants within Goode Company

Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in restaurant sales and/or event planning and coordination
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials
  • Creative mindset welcomed and encouraged to bring innovative ideas on all aspects of our business
  • TABC certification and Texas Food Handlers license is required
