Director of Pediatric Services Job Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate healthcare professional looking to make a difference in the lives of children? Goodcare LLC is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Pediatric Services to lead our team in providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in the school based and B-3 settings. This position will be a hybrid in person and remote position providing- 50% treatment and 50% management. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pediatric services department to ensure the delivery of compassionate and comprehensive care to pediatric patients
• Develop and implement programs and services to address the unique healthcare needs of children
• Collaborate with administration, coordinators, teachers, SpEd departments and healthcare professionals to develop education based treatment plans and provide ongoing support
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of patient care
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of South Dakota
• Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience treating pediatric clients.
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in pediatric care and a commitment to continuous quality improvement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with schools, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of our pediatric patient population
• Experience preferred but not required
