Good Shepherd Manor is Hiring a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional Near Momence, IL

For over 52 years, Good Shepherd Manor has been home to over 100 men with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our thriving community of residents and staff enjoy living or working on our picturesque 60-acre campus that includes 13 modern group homes located 45 minutes south of Chicago just north of Momence, Illinois.

This day shift position is classified as hourly, so you get overtime pay if you work it and additional shift differentials if applicable. The starting pay rate is $26.00 per hour.

We offer a full range of benefits including a generous paid time off package of more than 5 weeks and bonus opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As part of our QIDP team, you will oversee and manage the development and care plans for our residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities to continue making their lives at Good Shepherd Manor a wonderful experience.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate meetings using both internal and external resources and serve as a resident advocate.

You will schedule resident activities including off-site events and work with our team for on-site activities.

You will provide leadership and guidance to residents and communicate with their guardians and family as well as work with the care giving leadership team and staff.

You will prepare reports, maintain assigned resident files, and develop appropriate program plans on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with state regulations and the safety and health of the residents.

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in a qualifying major such as psychology, human services, social work, education, dietician, recreation.

At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities.
